Goodbye 2018 and Hello 2019!!! πŸ˜€

Hola familia. I have missed you all immensely.

Apologies for the long silence.

My intention was to upgrade Yours&Ours.com before further posts so as to give you a much better content but due to “village people” wahala, we’d now be kicking off 2019 with a bang!!! πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

#Anticipate πŸ™Œ

Most of you have asked for less writing and videos which is why I will be upgrading this website.

Going forward, there will be better illustrations, photos and also an improved standard in the writing.

This I promise you. 😊

Please do not forget to like, comment and follow Yours&Ours.com so that way you’d be the first to experience what’s comingΒ (Bottom of page).

2018 has been a rollercoaster but thankfully WE MADE IT to the end.

Some of my peaks this year have been the ability to connect and get to know some of you on a deeper level but most importantly being able to make it to the end of another year with all my family and loved ones.

There has been some sad moments too but here we focus on the positive.

Please let me know in the comment section some of your peaks for the year 2018.

Now let’s talk Christmas…

How is Christmas day at your home?

I feel like it’s always the same on Christmas day at mine every year…

We get up on the 25th and the ladies gather in the kitchen for the cooking and gossip session – mostly to talk about the neighbours and predict the taste of their food (I know, the evil that women do). 😈😈😈

Then we proceed to eating the first and most important meal of the day, breakfast – pounded yam and any soup that catches my mother’s fancy that year.

For some reason, to eat this meal; we sit on the floor and we MUST always eat together from the same plate and even wash our hands from the same bowl.

The family that eats together, stays together… I guess. πŸ‘ͺ

Then we become paralyzed for at least 30 minutes because pounded yam is no food for the weak. πŸ’ͺ

We proceed to making more dishes, giving and receiving the exact same food from our neighbours and maybe remember the reason for the season – Jesus and say a prayer. πŸ˜‡

There goes Christmas day… πŸ˜•

Ofcourse there are other activities before and after the actual day like beach trips and visiting Santa.

To be honest, all I’ve seen is “father Christmas”.

Last year, “Santa” was so high, dude’s eyes were bloodshot and his lips was as black as night. This year’s Santa had the nerve to wear rain boots as shoes. 😒😒😒

What have I done to deserve all this? Why always me? πŸ’”

Anyway… Having trouble getting gifts? Here’s a solution for you.πŸ‘‡ πŸ’ƒπŸ’ƒπŸ’ƒ

As the “staphylococcus aureus” advert announcer says; “If you hide your problem, your problem go hide you”…. don’t die in “silent”.

So to my family, friends and loved ones, all I want for Christmas is a car (Hell! At this stage I’d even take a tricycle; anything that moves) or/and a Canon camera.β€πŸ’™

If it is an hassle for you; my bank accounts are forever open to gifts and investors. I take cash too. πŸ’ΈπŸ’ΈπŸ’Έ

Just incase it skips the Christmas wish list, my birthday is the very first day of February (I laugh in greediness and perfect timing). πŸ˜‚

Have a very merry Christmas lovies.πŸŽ…

Remember the reason for the season.

Give and receive!!!πŸ’

See you 2019!!! Happy New Year in advance. πŸ’‹

I love you all. Dearly. πŸ’‘

Miss Tee… πŸ‘Έ
